Researchers from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences continue to carry out important projects. In this context, the team working under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sevim Işık, a faculty member of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (English), received full A score approval within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.
Another new study, led by Prof. Dr. Sevim Işık, a faculty member of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (English), has qualified for support. The project, applied under the title “Investigation of the Therapeutic Efficacy of Topoisomerase IIbeta Overexpressing Human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Exosomes in a 5XFAD Transgenic Alzheimer's Disease Mouse Model,” received full A score approval within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.
Işık's team, which undertook the project leadership, includes; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Birsen Elibol, a faculty member at Medeniyet Üniversitesi, as a consultant; Prof. Dr. Fikrettin Şahin, a faculty member at Yeditepe Üniversitesi; Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Cihan Taştan from Üsküdar Üniversitesi; Vet. Hekim. Dr. Engin Sümer from Yeditepe Üniversitesi; 1 PhD Scholar and 1 Master's Scholar as researchers.
