Students from Üsküdar University’s Faculty of Communication continue to add new achievements to their list of awards. This year, they achieved remarkable success in the “Communicators of the Future Competition” organized by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), earning significant distinctions once again. The young communicators won a total of four awards, including one first place, one second place, and two TRT Special Awards, once again demonstrating the strength of their academic foundation and the university’s emphasis on practical education.

First Place Goes to Üsküdar!
In the Digital Content Management category, New Media and Communication Department students Merve Kelpetin Üçok and Melike Yıldız Çölcü won first place with their project titled “M2Medya.”

In the same category, Advertising Department students Melda Zeynep Sarı, Taha Demirci, and Bahar Mutaf received second place with their project “Bir Çocuk Sordu” (A Child Asked).

TRT Special Awards for Üsküdar Communication
In the Digital Content Management category, Journalism Department student Sude Lermioğlu received a TRT Special Award for her project “Being a Woman in Trabzon.”
Another Journalism student, Meryem Aydın, also won a TRT Special Award in the Internet News category for her work titled “A Panel Came Out of an Instagram Fortune.”

The Competition Provides Sectoral Experience for Young Communicators
Organized annually by TRT, the “Communicators of the Future Competition” allows communication faculty students to showcase their creativity and gain professional industry experience.
