Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, addressed 5,138 new Üsküdar University members and their families who joined the Üsküdar Üniversitesi family.
Dear students and their esteemed families,
First of all, I would like to welcome the 5,138 new Üsküdar University members who have joined us, to our university.
When we founded Üsküdar Üniversitesi in 2011 with the ideal of providing education above world standards, our biggest dream was to teach our students the importance of 21st-century skills, entrepreneurship, innovation, collaboration, relationship management, and teamwork. We advise every new student joining us to be individuals with high human values, as much as being good scientists and professional experts. We gathered these values under the title of “Our 4 Core Principles”: “Critiquability”, “libertarianism”, “pluralism”, and “participation”… We expect you to apply these principles in every aspect of your life from the moment you take your first step into our university.
Furthermore, I recommend that you follow our courses such as “University Culture”, “Entrepreneurship and Project Culture”, and “Positive Psychology and Communication Skills”, which we believe will greatly contribute to your personal development.
