Forensic science students draw attention with their achievements…

Students continuing their education in Üsküdar Üniversitesi's Undergraduate and Graduate Forensic Sciences programs are also taking their achievements to the international arena. Some of the students who were admitted to master's and doctoral programs by qualified universities worldwide are now achieving new successes with special courses and training. 

Üsküdar Üniversitesi draws attention in Turkey and on international platforms with the education it offers in the field of Forensic Sciences. Students demonstrate that they are equipped to compete in the labor market with the education and internship opportunities they gain in the international arena.  
Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, Üsküdar Üniversitesi, which provides Turkey's first Undergraduate Forensic Sciences education, achieves significant successes in forensic science in the international arena. 

At the Cape Town Wildlife course… 

Kardelen Karamahmutoğlu, a Master's student in the Forensic Genetics Program, continues her education at the 'Forensic Science and Wildlife' course in Cape Town, the capital of South Africa. Karamahmutoğlu, who has the opportunity to closely examine wild animals, is experiencing a different field.  

In Dubai and Malta…

Meanwhile, Yusuf Asker, an Undergraduate Forensic Sciences student, is continuing his education and work at the 'Forensic Sciences and Criminology Center' in Dubai, while Müge Sakarya, also an Undergraduate Forensic Sciences student, is doing so at 'Floriana Police Criminal' in Malta. 

International success of Üsküdar's Forensic Sciences students…

The achievements of forensic science students are not limited to these. İnci Yağmur Tezbasan, a PhD student in the Forensic Sciences Doctoral Program at the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences, was selected as member of the month by the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN), headquartered in the USA. Additionally, two 4th-year Forensic Sciences students were accepted for a 2-week internship at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Crime Laboratory.

Emphasizing that Üsküdar Üniversitesi is in a good position in Turkey and on international platforms in terms of the quality of education offered, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Vice Rector and Director of the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, stated that they are proud of their students' international achievements. Atasoy said: “We are trying to provide a global vision. We also have other students abroad, some working on their doctoral thesis at Uppsala University in Sweden. We are proud of them."
