Üsküdar University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Visual Communication Design organized an event titled "Undergraduate and Graduate Effective Communication Techniques". Author Aret Vartanyan attended the event as a guest. Commenting on effective communication, Vartanyan pointed out that the first step in gaining mental independence is critical thinking. At the same time, Vartanyan emphasized that focus is essential for realizing one's potential.
The event, which took place in the Fuat Sezgin conference hall of the South Campus, was attended by Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Visual Communication Design Department Head Prof. And Algül and faculty academicians.

Commenting on effective communication, Vartanyan said that "In communication, it is necessary to focus not only on body language and techniques, but also on sincerity and awareness. The biggest shortcoming is not being able to stay in the moment. I encourage you to find your own voice instead of trying to be like someone else. Fear and anxiety are mental traps. A person who loves himself is not afraid of his future because he does not see anything bad happening to him."

Underlining that the comfort offered by the digital world is actually a control mechanism, Vartanyan expressed that "Social media needs to be used carefully. The first step to gaining mental independence is critical thinking. If you have not seen The Truman Show, that is the only assignment from me to you. As long as the individual does not question it, he perceives the reality he is in not as a show world, but as the absolute truth. If I lock you in a room and keep you there for months and show you the same things, I will change your whole character, your personality, my mind, I will manipulate you. We are in the box right now."
