Focus is essential for unlocking potential!

An event titled “Undergraduate and Graduate Effective Communication Techniques” was organized by the Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication Visual Communication Design Department. Author Aret Vartanyan attended the event as a guest. Vartanyan, making evaluations on effective communication, pointed out that the first step to gaining mental independence is critical thinking. Vartanyan also emphasized that focus is essential for people to unleash their potential.

The event, held in the Güney Yerleşke Fuat Sezgin conference hall, was attended by faculty academics, including Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication Visual Communication Design Department Head Prof. Dr. And Algül.

“It is necessary to focus on sincerity and awareness”

Vartanyan, making evaluations on effective communication, said; “In communication, it is necessary to focus not only on body language and techniques but also on sincerity and awareness. The biggest shortcoming is not being able to stay in the moment. I recommend finding your own voice instead of trying to be like someone else. Fear and anxiety are mental traps. A person who loves themselves does not fear their future because they do not deem anything bad worthy of themselves.”

Vartanyan, emphasizing that the comfort offered by the digital world is actually a control mechanism, said; “Social media needs to be used carefully. The first step to gaining mental independence is critical thinking. If you haven't watched The Truman Show, let that be your only assignment from me. As long as an individual does not question, they perceive their reality not as a show world, but as absolute truth. If I lock you in a room and keep you there for months, and always show you the same things, I would already change and manipulate your entire character, personality, and mind. We are currently inside the box.”

Aret Vartanyan, emphasizing that focus is essential for people to unleash their potential, said; “Your sitting in front of me doesn't mean you are here. If the mind is somewhere else, that moment is gone. Focus is essential for people to unleash their potential. Be where you are so that you can give your hundred percent. Otherwise, we always miss out.”
