Üsküdar University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHS) held its traditional “Welcome Summer Party.” The event attracted great attention from both academic and administrative staff, including Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör and Dean Prof. Deniz Ülke Kaynak. With musical performances, a gift raffle, and a warm, friendly atmosphere, the FHS community enjoyed a delightful time together.
The vibrant and enjoyable event took place in the garden of South Campus E Block.

The party saw high participation from Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Deniz Ülke Kaynak, as well as other members of the academic and administrative staff.
A faculty tradition
In her opening speech, Prof. Deniz Ülke Kaynak emphasized that the Welcome Summer Party has become a tradition for the faculty. She expressed her hope that all participants would enjoy the day and unwind after an intense and busy academic year.
Gifts presented in a raffle
During the event, various gifts were presented to academic and administrative personnel through a raffle. The party was filled with musical moments, including songs performed by Hakan Çap and his wife Bilge Melek Çap, accompanied by the qanun.
Live performances captivated the audience
Instructor Gözde Büklüm from the Department of Translation and Interpreting and third-year Psychology student Ceren Ertuğrul also added color to the event with their live guitar-accompanied performance.
