A philanthropic act took place within the scope of the 11th International Communication Days Symposium organized by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication. The income generated from the social responsibility projects carried out during the symposium was used to build a library for Siirt Ikizler Village Primary School. As part of this, fabric bag painting activities were held. Additionally, an exhibition drawing attention to various social issues such as “Children Holding onto the Sun” and “Free Women, Stronger Tomorrows” was presented to visitors.
IFIG Drew Attention with Social Responsibility Projects
The International Communication Days Symposium (IFIG), organized by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication between May 15 and 17, not only featured high-quality presentations and strong participation but also drew attention with its social responsibility projects. One of these projects involved painting fabric bags as part of the “In the Footsteps of Girls” Project, sponsored by Cadence Paints. The income generated from this project was donated to build a library for Siirt Ikizler Village Primary School. Additionally, within this scope, 16 children living in Ağrı Ortaca Village were reunited with their toys.

Attention Drawn to Social Issues…
Another activity carried out within the scope of social responsibility projects was painting with waste materials.
Üsküdar Üniversitesi students, together with students from BÜMED MEÇ Primary School, created paintings from waste materials in the garden of the Faculty of Communication. The artworks produced as a result of this collaboration were presented to visitors in the Faculty of Communication garden. In addition to the exhibition, students drew attention to social issues with social responsibility projects titled “Children Holding onto the Sun,” “Free Women, Stronger Tomorrows,” “Small Steps,” and “Early Diagnosis,” advised by Dr. Nihal Toros Ntapiapis from the Department of Advertising at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication.
