An alumni meeting event was organized in collaboration with Üsküdar Üniversitesi's Faculty of Communication and the Career Center Department. The event, which brought together graduates from the Visual Communication Design and Cartoon and Animation departments, emphasized the importance of communication, strengthening the sense of belonging, and the contribution of solidarity among alumni to sectoral development. During the program, feedback was also received from the alumni regarding the university's educational quality, course content, and image.


The event, held at Üsküdar Üniversitesi's South Campus Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, was attended by Prof. Dr. And Algül, Head of the Faculty of Communication's Visual Communication Design Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cem Tutar, Head of the Cartoon and Animation Department; Lecturer Özgül Öztürk; Lecturer Özge Kaya; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dicle Yıldırım; Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuray Ergindir Küçükkaya; Asst. Prof. Dr. Ebru Karadoğan; Research Assistant Hüsna Tosun; Research Assistant Baran Kahraman, along with faculty students.

Prof. Dr. And Algül: “It is very important to maintain your bond with each other”
Speaking at the program, Prof. Dr. And Algül, Head of the Faculty of Communication's Visual Communication Design Department, stated that feedback from alumni is important. Algül said; “This is your home, welcome home. The reason we are gathered here today is to evaluate together what we can do for you. Receiving feedback from you is very valuable to us. In other words, we want to know how we can support you. Because we know that sometimes even a tiny idea can turn into a very valuable project with the right brainstorming. We always want to stay in touch with you. At the same time, it is very important for you to maintain your bond with each other. Continuing this communication can actually open new doors for you too.”

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cem Tutar: “‘Being able to say ‘I am from Üsküdar’ is a strong sense of belonging’”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cem Tutar, Head of the Cartoon and Animation Department, stated within the scope of the event; “Seeing familiar faces here truly made me very happy. Your valuing this event and coming here is very precious to us. Üsküdar Üniversitesi is a young university, but it is determined to create its own school of thought and alumni profile. At this point, the bonds established with you are very important because being able to say ‘I am from Üsküdar’ is a strong sense of belonging. We want to strengthen this identity both institutionally and individually. By acting together and drawing strength from each other, we can increase our public visibility and reach wider audiences with our work. Because what is truly important is to be part of that flow and to be a part of this strong network.”

Remziye Çopur: “We aim to support you in various fields”
Remziye Çopur, Head of the Career Center Department, drew attention to the importance of experience. Çopur; “You have successfully completed your four-year undergraduate education and earned your diploma. We heartily congratulate all of you for this great achievement. As our alumni, you are very valuable to us. We regularly contact you to update your employment and educational statuses, thereby aiming to support you in various fields. We want to strengthen our bond with you. Of course, there are many beautiful memories and proud achievements we have shared. However, life gains meaning not only with successes but also with what we call experience, sometimes with sentences beginning with 'I wish'. For this reason, sharing our experiences and thoughts by gathering here today is very valuable to us.”

Constructive feedback was received from the alumni students who spoke during the program regarding the quality of education, course content, and the university's image.
