To draw attention to energy saving, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources published a booklet titled ‘Energy Efficiency at Work, Home, and On the Road!’. Üsküdar Üniversitesi also implemented an action plan within its institution with this sensitivity, and the booklet, published under the Energy Efficiency Law, aims to ensure the effective use of energy, prevent waste, lighten the burden of energy costs on the economy, increase energy source and energy use efficiency, and protect the environment.
The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources aims to gain support from universities for the project's sustainability and to raise public awareness about energy efficiency by sending its booklet titled ‘Energy Efficiency at Work, Home, and On the Road!’ to universities.
It is aimed to reduce energy consumption
The project's booklet, which aims to reduce energy consumption, details the effective use of energy efficiency and the measures that can be taken in heating, cooling, transportation, lighting, housework, cooking, work environments, and entertainment systems. The booklet contains important recommendations on measures to be taken in all areas where energy is used.
Significant savings will be achieved
If all recommendations are implemented, a saving rate of 50% in natural gas, 35% in electricity, and 25% in petroleum will be achieved in our country within 1 year.
