Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Üsküdar Üniversitesi, handed over her duty to Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir. The handover ceremony, held at Üsküdar Üniversitesi South Campus's Socrates Hall, was attended by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector and Chairman of the Executive Board Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, along with numerous academics. Tarhan extended his thanks to Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan for her dedicated work during her 3.5 years as Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and congratulated Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir on assuming the role, wishing him success.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan expressed his thanks to Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan, with whom he collaborated, with these words: “Ms. Deniz truly contributed a lot to our university during her time here. She left a beautiful mark and truly enriched our university with her contributions. We owe her a significant thank you. Our bond of affection will continue mutually in a friendly manner. I thank her again.”

Rector's Advisor and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan, stated: “I am happy to leave with no regrets. It's not always like this; Professor İbrahim is someone I have known for a very long time. We served as rectors during the same periods. I fully trust his academic abilities, his management skills, his humanity, and his quality. I am confident that the system will continue to run without any harm to this harmonious partnership, built on mutual trust and love, which we all built together. First and foremost, I want to thank Professor Nevzat. Everyone who leaves thanks our professor. He is a very special person. He mentors and guides all of us. I believe we have done beautiful things here together, and I thank each and every one of you individually. Our love will endure, and we will continue to work.”
Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, who took over the duty as the new Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences from Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan, also stated that Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan would always be valued and that their exchange of ideas would never end.
During the handover ceremony, a plaque and flowers were presented to Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan for her contributions to Üsküdar Üniversitesi to date.
