Under the leadership of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Health, Culture and Sports Department (SKS), the “Easy Chinese Training, My Career and Chinese Seminar” was held. Mustafa Karslı, Vice President of the Turkish Chinese Cultural Association, Yuan Man, and Ying Huang participated in the seminar.
Üsküdar Üniversitesi Hosted Chinese Culture
The event, held at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Central Campus Nermin Tarhan conference hall, was attended by Özcan Demir, Head of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Health, Culture and Sports Department, Hakan Özdemir, Head of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Digital Technologies and Software Department, Dr. Gülcan Ayral, Manager of Üsküdar Üniversitesi International Student Relations Office, Ayşe Nur Akçelik İlgeç, Media Relations Specialist, International Student Relations Specialists Viktorya Altınkaya and International Student Relations Assistant Nur Efşan Akıncı.
General Information about Chinese was Provided
At the opening of the event, Mustafa Karslı, Vice President of the Turkish Chinese Cultural Association, shared insights into ‘Chinese Culture’. Karslı, who provided information about easy Chinese training and taught Chinese to the participants, stated; “This event was organized very quickly, but this is just the beginning. Programs related to China will continue. The main purpose of today's program is to provide general information about Chinese, followed by a training session. Chinese is often seen by people as a very difficult, impossible-to-learn language. Generally, when you go out and talk to people and say, ‘I’ve started learning Chinese,’ people have a smile on their faces. We encounter interesting reactions. I don't think Chinese deserves this label. Today, we will discuss how this language will be useful to us and what its impact on our careers will be.”
‘Chinese Calligraphy’ event was held
Following the conclusion of the seminar and a group photo session, a Chinese Calligraphy event was held. Yuan Man wrote the Chinese names of the administrative staff and students participating in the event in calligraphy.
Chinese Tea was Served
After the calligraphy event, Chinese tea prepared by Ying Huang was served to the participants at the Chinese Tea Ceremony.
The Event Will Continue for Two More Days!
The training will continue for two more days at Üsküdar Üniversitesi as Easy Chinese Training- 2 and Easy Chinese Training- 3. Dr. Gülcan Ayral, Manager of the International Student Relations Office, stated that they will continue such event activities throughout the year and will keep working in line with students' wishes and demands.
