The “Dream, Live, Speak (Camp, Speak, Dream, Live)” project was organized by Üsküdar University in collaboration with the Texas University Arthur M. Blank Stuttering Education and Research Center. The project, carried out in partnership with Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Speech and Language Therapy, aimed to improve the quality of life, support communication skills, and strengthen social interactions of individuals experiencing stuttering.

The “Dream, Live, Speak (Camp, Speak, Dream, Live)” project, carried out in partnership with Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Speech and Language Therapy, took place between June 30 and July 4, 2025, within the scope of the Speech and Language Therapy Research and Application Center (ÜSESKOM).

A first in Turkey!
The project, which utilized a special intervention method implemented for the first time in Turkey, focused not only on speech fluency but also on individuals' development in areas such as self-confidence, leadership, and peer relationships.
The main goal of the project was to improve the quality of life for individuals experiencing stuttering and support their social participation.

Therapy applications and fun activities combined
Throughout the program, various therapy applications and group activities were conducted. Fun activities such as clay work and magic shows were organized with the participating children to ensure the process was more productive and enjoyable. At the end of the program, evaluation and sharing sessions were held with the participation of families.
Led by experts in the field
The event was carried out under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Konrot, Head of Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Speech and Language Therapy and Director of ÜSESKOM, and faculty member Assoc. Dr. Ayşe Aydın Uysal, with the participation of many speech and language therapists from various universities.
