Assist. Prof. Dr. Elçin Babaoğlu Gave Training Titled “Basic Communication with Individuals with Psychiatric Problems”

Erenköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital, one of Üsküdar University's external stakeholders, organized “In-Service Nursing Training”. Within this scope, Assist. Prof. Dr. Elçin Babaoğlu from Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, gave a training titled “Basic Communication with Individuals with Psychiatric Problems 1”. Babaoğlu, who spoke about basic knowledge and skills in initiating, maintaining, and concluding communication with psychiatric patients, will conduct another training titled “Interview Techniques with Individuals with Psychiatric Problems” on October 24. 

The training held at Erenköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital attracted intense interest.

Knowledge and skills to be considered in counseling were discussed

Assist. Prof. Dr. Elçin Babaoğlu from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, who spoke about the basic knowledge and skills in initiating, maintaining, and concluding communication with psychiatric patients, gave a training titled “Basic Communication with Individuals with Psychiatric Problems 1”.

Babaoğlu later drew attention to the knowledge and skills that should be considered in purposeful interviewing and counseling.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Elçin Babaoğlu, whose training received intense interest, will give another training titled “Interview Techniques with Individuals with Psychiatric Problems” on October 24.
