Prof. Dr. Chulpan Adipovna Misbakhova from Kazan Federal University and the Tatarstan Academic Scientific Center visited Üsküdar University. During her visit, Prof. Dr. Misbakhova met with Üsküdar University's Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, and exchanged views on potential academic collaborations and joint scientific studies between the two institutions.
Prof. Dr. Misbakhova was accompanied during her visit by Nail Kamaletdinov, General Manager of EuroAgro-Алга Company, an economist and expert in Islamic economics and finance.
Prof. Dr. Misbakhova also examined the Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP), which operates within Üsküdar University. Prof. Dr. İlham Miraç provided detailed information about the platform's activities and gave a comprehensive presentation on the ongoing research and projects. Misbakhova highlighted RİNAP's projects that could attract international interest, emphasizing the partnership potential of these works.
During her visit, Prof. Dr. Misbakhova also visited the Postcolonial Studies Center (PAMER). Assistant Professor Dr. Fehmi Ağca, Director of PAMER and a faculty member in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, provided information about the center's research and projects.
During the discussions, a series of topics aimed at strengthening cooperation between Üsküdar University and Kazan Federal University were addressed. These included: preparation of a cooperation protocol between the universities, organization of joint scientific conferences and workshops, planning internship programs for faculty members and students, conducting joint scientific research, academics teaching as visiting faculty members, and the implementation of projects in Islamic (Participatory) economics and finance in Tatarstan. Detailed consultations were held on these matters.
Prof. Dr. Misbakhova stated that the visit was fruitful for strengthening relations between the two universities, while Üsküdar University officials expressed their satisfaction with the prospective implementation of concrete projects.
