Üsküdar University Men's Football and Basketball teams achieved a double victory by leaving their rivals behind in the Inter-University Football and Basketball League. Üsküdar players, who faced Yeni Yüzyıl University in their first match in the Inter-University Football tournament and secured an overwhelming 10-0 victory, left their opponents behind with a clear score of 112-64 in the Inter-University Basketball League match against Istanbul Kültür University.
In the league organized under the University Sports Federation, Üsküdar University Men's Football Team faced Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University in a match played at Örnektepe Stadium in Group C. With attacks from the start of the match and good football displayed on the field against their opponent, they secured 3 points in their group with a score of 10-0.
Before next week's planned match, Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University, wanting to heal from the defeat it suffered against Üsküdar University, will try to earn points from Özyeğin University at Kanlıca Stadium. In the match to be played on the same day, Üsküdar University will compete against Istanbul Şişli Vocational School football team. Üsküdar University's last group match in the first half will be against Doğuş University. Üsküdar Men's Basketball team scored 44 points with its performance in the first half, while Istanbul Kültür University closed the first half with 27 points. With the start of the second half, Üsküdar University Basketball team displayed a superior performance than the first half, finishing the match with a significant difference by scoring 112 points.
Üsküdar University Men's Basketball Team will play its second group match on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 12:30 PM, against Yıldız Technical University at YTÜ Sports Hall.
