An event titled “The Key to Success in E-commerce” was organized by the Department of Management Information Systems of Üsküdar University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The event, which hosted Entrepreneur, Instructor Gülben Benli Öztürk, discussed the fundamental dynamics of e-commerce, digital entrepreneurship processes, and modern marketing strategies. Öztürk shared her path to success in e-commerce through her own experiences with the participants.

Referring to her own career journey in her speech, Öztürk stated that after her teaching profession, she turned to the digital world and embarked on an entrepreneurial path. Öztürk emphasized that the transition from traditional business understanding to digital platforms created a significant turning point in the business world, stating that this transformation generated new opportunities.

Emphasizing the importance of starting with small budgets in the initial stages of entrepreneurship, Öztürk explained how she built her brand by accurately analyzing market gaps. She stated that the personalized product strategy she developed during this process became one of the most significant elements creating a difference in e-commerce.

In her speech, Öztürk also touched upon the differences between social media platforms like Instagram and global marketplaces, stating that e-commerce has evolved into a multi-layered structure by spreading across various channels over time.
