Different cultures came together at “The Grand Iftar” program

“The Grand Iftar” program was organized by the Intercultural Club, operating under the Health, Culture and Sports (HCS) Department of Üsküdar University. Representatives from the Union of International Democrats (UDEF), Bab-ı Alem Association, and Hayır Yolu Association also attended the iftar program, which brought together students from different countries. 

In the program held at Üsküdar University Main Campus, students gathered at the same table and shared feelings of unity and solidarity. 

The program, which started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, continued with the evening call to prayer and the breaking of fasts together. 

After the iftar, participants conversed and shared their views on the meaning and importance of the month of Ramadan.

Subhi Çörekçi: “We are with you materially and spiritually”

Speaking at the program, Subhi Çörekçi, Vice President of the Bab-ı Alem Association, addressed the students and stated that the association is always ready to provide support. Çörekçi said: “We are always here. Should you encounter any difficulties, our association will be with you materially and spiritually. May our night be blessed.”

Cultural interaction strengthened

The program, which enabled students from different cultures to come together, took place in a warm atmosphere reflecting the spirit of sharing and solidarity of the month of Ramadan. The program also contributed to strengthening cultural interaction among students.

The program concluded with a group photo taken after the prayer of gratitude.
