The book ‘Develop Your Brain, Renew Yourself,’ co-authored by Prof. Dr. Cumhur Taş, a faculty member in the Psychology Department of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Üsküdar Üniversitesi, and Psychologist Nuray Yetim, was published by Üsküdar Üniversitesi publications.
An exercise book prepared for cognitive development…
Cumhur Taş, a faculty member in the Psychology Department of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, provided information about the book's content; “This book serves as an exercise book prepared for the cognitive development of healthy elderly individuals, individuals with minimal mental impairment, those with mild dementia, and individuals suffering from chronic psychiatric and neurological diseases that cause mental deterioration. The first section of the book contains a structured mental development program, while the second section includes exercises that can be applied in your free time. The book is designed with the quality and simplicity to be applied with the guidance of mental health professionals, as well as individually or with family members in neurology and psychiatry clinics or at home,” he said.
“A working mind can always develop”
Emphasizing that readers can create a significant change in their daily lives, Prof. Dr. Cumhur Taş stated; “This workbook, based on the assumption that a working mind can always develop, will hopefully provide individuals in the target audience with development that can create meaningful changes in their daily lives.”
