Design Processes in Mobile Gaming Discussed

An event titled "Design Processes in Mobile Gaming" was organized by the Department of Cartoon and Animation of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication. SPYKE Games Illustrator Onur Karadağ participated in the event. Karadağ stated that the gaming industry in Turkey is not entered much due to the difference in the dollar exchange rate. 

The event took place at the Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall on the South Campus. 

"Tracking data is important for tracking revenue"

SPYKE Games Illustrator Onur Karadağ, speaking about the development process of the gaming industry in Turkey, mentioned that the gaming industry is not heavily entered in Turkey due to the difference in the dollar exchange rate. Karadağ stated; "The gaming industry in Turkey is not entered much due to the difference in the dollar exchange rate. Companies producing games abroad earn good income from this business. Teamwork is very important here. The strongest area of our office is software; tracking data is important for tracking revenue." 

"Give importance to teamwork"

Karadağ, offering advice to the students attending the event, said; "Firstly, you can consider the mobile side of the gaming industry, and then when you start earning income, you can establish a studio. When you establish a studio, give importance to the team and teamwork; don't join a team where only the boss's orders are followed. Meet as many people in the industry as possible. When we hire someone, we research who can be a reference, and we hire individuals from whom we receive positive feedback."

Karadağ, showing the games they developed to the event participants, stated that he actively uses LinkedIn and continuously receives job opportunities from there.

The event continued with a Q&A session and concluded after a group photo session.
