Assist. Prof. Dr. Nebiye Yaşar: 'Social contribution is a form of stance that reveals the soul of our university'
Üsküdar University Community Contribution Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Nebiye Yaşar stated: 'We will manage both internal coordination and external stakeholder relations with academic ethics in areas such as volunteering, cooperation with civil society, being in the field during disaster periods, and developing projects with young people. In line with YÖKAK's expectations, measurability, student and academic participation, and sustainable collaborations will be fundamental building blocks for us. This coordination office has been established to multiply goodness together and for our university to support social development. Social contribution is a form of stance that reveals the soul of our university.'

Strategic topics discussed
During the meeting, where it was emphasized that social contribution must achieve a measurable, traceable, and sustainable institutional structure, many strategic topics were discussed, such as supporting projects that will increase the voluntary participation of students and academic staff, the university taking an active role during disaster and crisis periods, and strengthening scientific and social activities for public benefit.

Meetings to continue at regular intervals
At the end of the meeting, it was decided that the coordination process would be carried out transparently, data-driven, and participatively, with the aim of creating 'a university structure that produces together, leaves a mark together, and transforms together'. In line with the decisions taken at the meeting, it is aimed to continue the coordination board meetings at regular intervals and to strengthen the mission of producing community-oriented scientific impact at an institutional level.
