A memorandum of understanding (MOU) for educational collaboration was signed between Chicago East-West University and Üsküdar Üniversitesi to support joint research initiatives between the USA and Türkiye. The online meeting aimed to expand academic cooperation and enhance intercultural exchange. East-West University Rector Dr. Mohammad Wasiullah Khan and his team attended the meeting.
The meeting, held at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Central Campus Senate Hall, was attended by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, East-West University Rector Dr. Mohammad Wasiullah Khan, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Philosophy Department faculty member Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Board Member Prof. Dr. Alparslan Açıkgenç, and General Secretary Selçuk Uysaler.
Within the scope of this partnership, the aim is to collaborate on various initiatives such as student and faculty exchange programs, joint research projects, and cooperative education programs at both universities.
