An event titled “Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Unit Operating Models” was organized in cooperation with Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) and the Biomedical Technicians Association (BİYOTED). Many experts in their field participated in the event.

The event, held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Emirnebi 1 Conference Hall, was moderated by Lecturer Eyser Kılıç Boz, Head of SHMYO Biomedical Device Technology Program, and Lecturer Mehmet Kavacık.
The event featured Zafer Yaldız, Biomedical Technician at Bakırköy Clinical Engineering Services Unit, Istanbul Public Hospitals Services Vice Presidency, Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate, Istanbul Governorship; Levent Can, General Manager of Sağlam Medikal Sistemler Ltd. Şti.; Ahmet Alkaya, Biomedical Manager of Üsküdar Üniversitesi NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi; Muhammet Kollik and Enes Can Bektaş, Biomedical Technicians at Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital; and Furkan Uslu, Clinical Engineering Unit Supervisor at Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital, as speakers.


Informative presentations were made within the scope of the event
Zafer Yaldız, Vice President of Istanbul Public Hospitals Services, Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate, Istanbul Governorship, explained the operating models of clinical engineering and biomedical units in hospitals in Turkey under the title "BİYOTED Corporate Presentation."
Levent Can, General Manager of Sağlam Medikal Sistemler, delivered his presentation titled "Business and Operating Models of Biomedical Units in Medical Companies."
Muhammet Kotlik, Biomedical Technician from Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital, delivered his presentation on "Biomedical Storage Processes in Hospitals."
Enes Can Bektaş, Biomedical Technician from Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital, provided information on "Biomedical Technicians' Fault Process Management and Reporting." Furkan Uslu, Clinical Engineering Unit Supervisor, also addressed the topics of "Planned Maintenance and Calibration Tracking" and "Maintenance Agreement Contract Types."
Ahmet Alkaya, Biomedical Manager of Üsküdar Üniversitesi NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi and TÜRKAK/GAC Auditor, shared his knowledge with the participants on "Accreditation and Authorization Processes within the Scope of Testing, Control, and Calibration of Medical Devices in Turkey."
The event concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the participants and a group photo session.
