'Children in the Leading Role' Project: A World First...

The theater play titled 'Pufy's Journey: Mirror of Information', organized within the scope of the 'Children in the Leading Role Project' by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Health, Culture and Sports (SCS) Department and the Orphan Foundation, met with its audience at the Main Campus Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall. Serhat Eser wrote and directed the play, with Cebrail Kalın serving as assistant director. 

At the event, Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Rectorate Project Development Coordinator (PARGE) and Director of the Young Brains Academy Application and Research Center (GBA), delivered a speech.

“This project is a gift to all children affected by the earthquake”

 Expressing her excitement for the ‘Children in the Leading Role Project’, Dr. Nebiye Yaşar said;

“Dear young people, today we have gathered here for these lovely children and for you. In fact, we have gathered for a very beautiful project. This project is a gift to all children, especially those who have experienced earthquake trauma and have been affected by the earthquake to the first, second, and third degree.”

It is featured for the first time as an interactive theater in the world

Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Orphan Foundation, Haydi Tut Elimi Association, and all clubs within Üsküdar Üniversitesi SCS came together under the scope of this project. It was stated that the aim of this project is to foster the well-being of children through engaging activities. It was emphasized that the project includes the world's first interactive theater. Another feature of this theater is that its script was reviewed and approved by psychologists and psychiatrists.

The messages intended for children in the play, which was well-received by the audience, stood out. The audience was conveyed how goodness and evil affect people, and that there is actually goodness within every person.
