East West University Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammad Wasiullah Khan and Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Ahsan visited Üsküdar University. The visiting delegation met with Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör and Üsküdar academics. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in education had been signed between the two universities to support joint research initiatives between the USA and Turkey. During the visit, topics such as collaboration on various initiatives, including cooperative education programs, were discussed, as well as diversifying potential collaborations.
The meeting held in the Senate Hall of Üsküdar University Central Campus aimed to expand academic cooperation and enhance intercultural exchange.
Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, Secretary General Selçuk Uysaler, Deputy Director of the Institute of Sufi Studies Dr. F. Cangüzel Güner Zülfikar, Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Board Member Prof. Dr. Alparslan Açıkgenç, and personnel from the Health, Culture and Sports Department and the International Relations Department attended the meeting.
During the meeting, which was also briefly attended by Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, information about Üsküdar University was provided and potential collaborations were discussed.
