Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Üsküdar District Governorship, Üsküdar District Directorate of National Education, in cooperation with, implemented the second seminar within the scope of the “Change Starts With Me - Social Media Awareness Project”, which was held at 15 July Veterans Anatolian High School. Project coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin Tutgun Ünal made important presentations to students regarding conscious social media use and media literacy.
Project partners continue to meet with students within the scope of the “Change Starts With Me - Social Media Awareness Project”, which aims to provide social media literacy skills to 1500 high school students studying in Üsküdar.
Secondly, within the scope of the project, a meeting was held with the teachers and students of 15 July Veterans Anatolian High School. Project coordinator Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication Lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin Tutgun Ünal made important presentations on social media literacy and conscious social media use during the seminar.
Ertuğrul Tut, the Preference Specialist for Educational Institutions and Guidance Services at the Corporate Communications Department, also accompanied the seminar and provided information to the students together with Ünal.
An 8-question quiz was also organized for students via the Kahoot application during the program, which was attended by approximately 100 students.
The student who came in first was presented with the book “Social Media Psychology”, edited by Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin Tutgun Ünal.
