In the program held at the Turkey Alzheimer Association Kadıköy Branch, Kadıköy Alzheimer Center, with the limited participation of Alzheimer Patient Relatives and Üsküdar University Elderly Care students as observers within the scope of the “Gerontology” course; Alzheimer's Disease, its stages, the approaches of patient relatives during these stages, and their relationships with patients were discussed.
In the program where patient relatives shared the challenges they faced or overcame with their patients, based on the idea that the true decision-makers are the patient relatives, attention was drawn to the psychological resilience of patient relatives, and evaluations were made on a relationship-focused approach.
