A CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) Awareness and Suspicious Package Training was organized by Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services. During the event, measures to be taken against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats were discussed. The event, aiming to raise students' awareness of potential risks, created significant consciousness.

İbrahim Adayış was a guest at the event held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Emirnebi Conference Hall. The program covered the definition of the CBRN concept, its historical development, and the risks that may be encountered today.

Emphasizing that CBRN incidents should not only be considered large-scale disasters, and that individual awareness and accurate information are vital, İbrahim Adayış said; “When CBRN is mentioned in society, only large-scale attacks come to mind, but individual measures taken through accurate information and awareness can be life-saving.”
Addressing nuclear threats, Adayış stated; “Knowing the measures to be taken against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats can prevent potential loss of life.”

It is necessary not to panic in case of a chemical attack or leak
Within the scope of the training, information was provided on the dangers that may arise from the accidental or deliberate spread of chemical substances, the effects of biological agents on human health, and radiological and nuclear risks.
Providing participants with information on the steps to be followed and personal protection methods in case of potential exposure, İbrahim Adayış said; “It is necessary not to panic in case of a chemical attack or leak. It is of great importance that we do not leave our current area until information confirming its safety comes from the authorities.”

The importance of suspicious package awareness was emphasized
Adayış, addressing the distinctive features of suspicious packages and the safe procedures to be followed when encountering such a situation, said; “When a suspicious package arrives, it should absolutely not be touched, opened, and the area should be isolated, with authorized units immediately notified.”
