Students from Üsküdar University's Faculty of Communication, Cartoon and Animation Department, and Visual Communication Design Department visited the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV). During the visit to the LÖSEV center in Ataşehir, students organized activities in an orange ribbon workshop to support children with leukemia and raise awareness.

Workshop Activities Held During the Visit
The visit took place under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cem Tutar, Head of the Cartoon and Animation Department, and Prof. Dr. And Algül, Head of the Visual Communication Design Department. Throughout the event, students not only learned about LÖSEV but also participated in various workshops.

Orange Ribbons Prepared for Children
LÖSEV official Şeyda Doğu showed students a short film explaining their activities. Following this, a workshop demonstrated the making of orange ribbons, which hold great significance for LÖSEV. Students prepared this special symbol with their own hands to boost the morale of children with leukemia.


Department Heads Also Contributed
Prof. Dr. And Algül and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cem Tutar also contributed to the workshop by making ribbons alongside the students.
The event concluded with a group photo session after an enjoyable day that strengthened the students' sense of social responsibility.
