An event titled “Secrets of Brand Strategy: How to Build a Roadmap?” was organized in collaboration with Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Promotion, and the Career Center Directorate, within the scope of “Future Talks” events. YUBAI Brand Consultant Strategist Yunus Baran attended the event as a guest speaker. Baran spoke about branding processes, brand strategy, and his industry experiences.


The event, held at Üsküdar University's South Campus, attracted great interest.

The opening speech of the event was delivered by Semra Gül, Assistant Manager of Sector Collaborations at the Career Center Directorate. Gül stated; “We are together with a name who has written the brand strategies of many brands and accompanied their brand journeys in the sector for approximately 20 years.”
Yunus Baran: “Brand consultancy makes brands more competitive”
YUBAI Brand Consultant Strategist Yunus Baran, explaining the scope of brand consultancy and its role in the industry, said; “I have been working in brand consultancy and advertising for approximately 20 years. I have worked one-on-one with many brands on strategic planning, brand management, brand positioning, and building brand reputation. As brand consultants, we develop strategies to make brands stronger, more competitive, and more accurately positioned, and we support their implementation. Brand consultancy makes brands more competitive.”
“Branding should be sustainable and long-term”
Emphasizing that the branding process requires continuity, Yunus Baran stated that brands should develop strategies not only for today but also for the future. Baran said; “Branding is not a one-time process. It must be sustainable and thought of in the long term. A wrong step taken today can lead to significant costs for the brand in the coming years. Therefore, the right strategy, the right step, and the right solution are the foundation of branding.”
