Within the scope of the “Future Talks” event series, Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Department of Public Relations and Promotion, in cooperation with the Career Center Department, organized an event titled “The Codes of Brand Strategy: How to Build a Roadmap?” The event hosted YUBAI Brand Consultant and Strategist Yunus Baran, who shared insights on branding processes, brand strategy, and sectoral experience.

Held at Üsküdar University South Campus, the event attracted strong interest from students.

Semra Gül: “We will share nearly 20 years of industry experience”

The opening speech was delivered by Semra Gül, Deputy Director of Sectoral Collaborations at the Career Center.

Gül stated: “Today, we are together with a professional who has been active in the sector for nearly 20 years, has developed brand strategies for numerous companies, and has accompanied brands throughout their branding journeys.”

Yunus Baran: “Brand consultancy makes brands more competitive”

Explaining the scope and role of brand consultancy in the sector, YUBAI Brand Consultant and Strategist Yunus Baran said: “I have been working in brand consultancy and advertising for nearly 20 years. I have collaborated closely with many brands on strategic planning, brand management, brand positioning, and brand reputation building. As brand consultants, we develop strategies to help brands become stronger, more competitive, and more accurately positioned, and we support the implementation of these strategies. Brand consultancy makes brands more competitive.”

“Branding must be sustainable and long-term”

Emphasizing that branding is a continuous process, Baran underlined that brands should plan not only for the present but also for the future.

He stated: “Branding is not a one-time process. It must be sustainable and based on long-term thinking. A wrong step taken today can lead to serious costs for a brand in the future. Therefore, the right strategy, the right steps, and the right solutions are the foundations of successful branding.”

The event concluded with a Q&A session followed by a group photo.
