The 5th International 21st National Forensic Sciences Congress was organized by the Forensic Medicine Specialists Association. Prof. Dr. Aylin Yalçın Sarıbey, a faculty member from Üsküdar University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Forensic Sciences, attended the congress with postgraduate students. Within this scope, workshops, oral, and poster presentations were held. Doctoral student Ayşe Öykü Tuncay's study titled “Evaluation of the Transfer of Different Fiber Types to Human Hair within the Scope of Forensic Textiles” was awarded the 'Best Oral Presentation' in the field of Forensic Sciences.

Within the scope of the congress held in Antalya Belek, 7 oral and 1 poster presentation were made under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Aylin Yalçın Sarıbey. Additionally, a workshop titled “Use of Virtual Reality Technology in Forensic Sciences Education” was organized with doctoral student Orkun Eruygun.
