Üsküdar Üniversitesi is hosting the RİNAP summer school certificate program, organized with the theme of 'Being and Meaning'. The program will be held in-person from August 7-14, with the participation of individuals from different countries. The program, moderated by Prof. Dr. Necati Aydın, aims to deepen the understanding of being and meaning.
The first in-person class of the summer school certificate program organized by the Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) at Üsküdar Üniversitesi South Campus B Block, was given by Prof. Dr. Alparslan Açıkgenç.

The 'Being and Meaning' themed summer school certificate program, attended by participants from various countries, will last ten weeks. While the first ten weeks of the summer school program were held online, the last ten days of the program will continue with in-person classes.
Quest for meaning within the framework of Risale-i Nur's spiritual approach
The program's aim is to provide participants with content-focused education and to offer knowledge and insights, especially on re-interpreting existence within the framework of Risale-i Nur's spiritual approach. In addition, doctoral students are also participating in the program to receive support on topics that will contribute to their thesis studies.
The program includes three different courses, and these courses address how the meaning of existence can be interpreted. The focus is on questions such as how the meaning beyond just the material dimension of existence can be extracted and interpreted.
Participants from different countries around the world
Participants include individuals from different regions such as America, Canada, Europe, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Arab countries, Egypt, and South Africa. The participants mostly consist of individuals who have completed their doctorates or are doctoral students, with some also working as lecturers at universities.
The summer school program aims to encourage knowledge sharing among participants and to deepen their understanding of being and meaning.
Among the scientists providing education within the scope of the summer school certificate program are Prof. Alparslan Açıkgenç, Prof. Colin Turner, Dr. Abdelaziz Berghout, Dr. Edward Moad, Dr. Hamidullah Marazi, Dr. Abdulmajeed Khan, Prof. Necati Aydın, Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, Dr. Yunus Çengel, Dr. Abdullah al-Ahsan, Prof. Mustafa Tuna, and Ms. Nadine Kamal.
