Applied Trainer Training was held within the “Being a Good Person in Four Seasons” Social Innovation Model Project, supported by the Ministry of Interior and implemented in cooperation with Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Antalya Governorship, and the Healthy Life Association (SAYAD). Applied awareness-raising activities were conducted for the participants by Project Management Cycle Consultant and Üsküdar Üniversitesi Young Brains Academy Director Dr. Nebiye Yaşar.
During the Trainer Training held in Antalya, hosted by SAYAD, the project executor of “Being a Good Person in Four Seasons,” applied awareness-raising activities were conducted for participants within the scope of the project's values workshops by Project Management Cycle Consultant Dr. Nebiye Yaşar. With the training held between October 24-28, participants were structured to apply the knowledge they gained in both the applied values workshops within the project and in their professional and personal lives.
Workshop for trainers who will provide education in “Family and Values” workshops was organized
The special purpose of the applied Trainer Training Program was stated to be to provide knowledge, skills, and perspectives to trainers who will give applied training in the “Family and Values” workshops, which will be held for the first time in our country as a social innovation model by the Ministry of Interior, and to trainers who will assume leadership roles in professional or educational processes. It was reported that many topics were covered in a broad framework within the training content, from preparing presentations to analyzing the results of the training.
In the trainer's training program, participants gained knowledge about the principles of adult education, various teaching methods, and their advantages and disadvantages. They learned how to choose materials and equipment suitable for their needs and the techniques for using them in practice through applied studies.
Dr. Nebiye Yaşar provided information on problem-solving methods
Üsküdar Üniversitesi Young Brains Academy Director Dr. Nebiye Yaşar provided information on what methods participants could use to succeed when faced with different project problems, using innovative application examples within the scope of the Social Innovation Model.
Project Coordinator Bayraktar emphasized the importance of social innovation
Rumeysa Bayraktar, the coordinator of the “Being a Good Person in Four Seasons” project, provided general information about their projects and detailed information about the project's starting point. Bayraktar, addressing the problems of the project's target audience, stated: “Today, social innovation is an extremely important issue for the development and change of societies, in addition to technological developments that directly affect information. For societies and individuals struggling to adapt to development and change, social innovation maintains its importance today as a natural part of life. Rapidly developing technologies, and the need to attract the attention and ensure the motivation of children who are significantly affected by changes in family and social life, make social innovation necessary and compulsory. Social Innovation, defined as the transformation of knowledge into social benefit, will be realized by investing in human resources. Therefore, the Social Innovation Model project holds great importance today for a sustainable future. In this respect, the “Being a Good Person in Four Seasons Project” stands out with its contribution to strengthening the family institution in Turkey.”
Educators participating in the program became an interactive part of the training
Participants who successfully completed the program interactively applied what they learned in groups on each day of the training. The workshop groups formed in the Training Applications prepared for the workshops they would present in the project applications; topics such as “the creation of Family and Values Workshop slides to be ready for training, the preparation of application guides to ensure the sustainability of the workshops, and each participant giving a demo presentation on the last day of the training were addressed as the main applications of the training.
