The closing program of the “Being a Good Person in All Four Seasons” Social Innovation Model Project, carried out with the support of the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with Üsküdar University, was held. The program, which took place at the Neşet Ertaş NGO Center, saw a very high participation.

The closing program was attended by Antalya Deputy, Lawyer Mustafa Köse, Antalya Governorship administrators, Bahattin Bayraktar, President of Kepez Foundation and Antalya Healthy Life Association (SAYAD), Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, Lecturer and Director of Üsküdar University Young Brains Academy, administrators and experts from Antalya Provincial Mufti's Office, Family and Social Services administrators, Süleyman Uysal, Hakan Şimşek, Sabri Duman, Administrators of Antalya Governorship Provincial Social Studies and Project Directorate, Yavuz Gürhan, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports of Antalya, Antalya Provincial Directorate of National Education administrators, Yüksel Dorul, Akdeniz, Kepez District Director of Youth and Sports, Kenan Yavuz, Kepez District Director of National Education, Selim Tıraş, Kepez Municipality Press, Publication and Public Relations Manager, Provincial Chairman Ali Çetin, Hülya Yılmaz, President of İlke-Der and its members, Burcu Zaman, Antalyaspor Project Manager, and families and students in the project's target group.
‘Let's be good people for all four seasons throughout life’
In the project, where Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar University, served as academic advisor, the book “Being a Good Person” and the project “Families at University” also served as inspiration.
The presentation of the program and the project was made by Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, Lecturer and Director of Üsküdar University Young Brains Academy, and Youth Leader Ahsen Yılmaz, a student at Akdeniz University Faculty of Communication.
Speaking at the “Being a Good Person in All Four Seasons” Social Innovation Model Project, which was deemed worthy of support within the scope of the 2022 Civil Society Projects Support Program of the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interior, Bahattin Bayraktar, President of Antalya Healthy Life Association (SAYAD), highlighted the importance of the project. Bayraktar said, “I greet our stakeholders one by one. We served with a team of 25 people, and we held wonderful events with families for a year. We conveyed beautiful messages about being a good person not just for one day, but for a lifetime, and we also received messages from families and their children. I thank everyone who contributed. May Allah grant us to be good people not just for four seasons, but for a lifetime,” concluding his speech.
In his speech emphasizing the importance of the project, Antalya Deputy, Lawyer Mustafa Köse congratulated the project stakeholders, underlined that our country is in great need of social innovation model projects, and expressed his wishes for their continuation, saying, “We thank all stakeholders for their efforts, may Allah bless such endeavors.”
Within the project activities, 7 workshops were held with the target audience. In these workshops, values were shared with the target audience by experts. A certificate ceremony was held after the speeches of the experts from the Rose Workshop, Carnation Workshop, Snowdrop Workshop, Hyacinth Workshop, Daisy Workshop, Lily Workshop, and Acacia Workshop.
The program concluded after a dance performance presented by Hannenur Yılmaz with children, focusing on social media addiction among young people in the target group, followed by the enthusiastic presentations of all children singing “If Life Were a Festival.”
