Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan's book 'Being a Conscious Youth' is now going on sale in Albania and Kosovo.
Authored by Üsküdar University Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and published by Timaş Yayınları, after his books 'Mesnevi Therapy', 'Psychological Warfare', 'Addiction', 'You, Me and Our Children' and 'Being at Peace with Yourself', the book 'Being a Conscious Youth' is now being translated into Albanian.
The book 'Being a Conscious Youth', whose Albanian publishing rights for Albania and Kosovo were purchased by Pena Publishing, one of Albania's largest publishers, will now reach readers in these countries.
“I wrote it not for advice, but to offer guidance as a friend and companion…”
Stating that young people view events differently from their families in a changing world, Tarhan explains his reason for writing the book 'Being a Conscious Youth' as follows:
“The world is changing. Like other young people, you too can look at the world much differently from your family. It's perfectly normal to have minor disagreements with your parents and teachers. Wanting to be free, being anxious about the future, and easily adapting to technology are quite natural. Because you need to be understood and to understand. I hear you, and I truly understand you. I did not write this book to give you advice. You can see what I've written as the advice of a friend, a companion. Everything I say is for you to be able to leave your problems behind, to look at life with love and trust, that is, to consciously enjoy your youth. This book, which I'm sure you'll find very engaging, can also be easily opened and read by your parents and teachers – when they want to understand you better. Thus, perhaps they can read what you couldn't say and try to understand you better.”
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan's books 'Being a Conscious Family', 'Being a Conscious Youth', 'Psychology of Belief' have been translated into English, and his book 'Mesnevi Therapy' had also previously been translated into English, Bulgarian, and Persian.
Tarhan, whose books have also been translated into Indonesian and Azerbaijani, donates all proceeds from his books, which have sold over 1 million copies, to İDER (Human Values Foundation).
