Employees of Azerbaijan's Baku State University, stating that they are preparing a protocol for YÖK (Council of Higher Education), expressed their desire to establish a dual degree program. In this regard, the possibility of an Erasmus agreement with Baku State University was discussed. The delegation, emphasizing that Baku State University is Azerbaijan's first and largest university, stated their interest in conducting studies in new media and journalism.
Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk, on the other hand, stated that there are many Azerbaijani students pursuing bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, and added that while classical professions are more known in Azerbaijan, hybrid professions are increasing due to the impact of information and technology, and these new professions should be introduced to Azerbaijani youth. It was also noted that, if necessary, they could connect with Azerbaijani television channels to conduct information campaigns for young people.

Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör brought up a visit to Azerbaijan in April. The Azerbaijani delegation invited Üsküdar University to conferences to be held in Baku. Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, in turn, stated that being together at symposia held at Üsküdar University could be beneficial in every aspect for the Azerbaijani delegation.
