Azerbaijani Ambassador Dr. Reşad Memmedov visited Üsküdar University Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, in his office. During the meeting, also attended by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, opportunities for academic and cultural cooperation between the two countries were evaluated. Cooperation opportunities for developing educational programs, research projects, student-academician exchanges, and joint studies in various fields were discussed. 

Joint projects discussed

During the visit to the office of Üsküdar University Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, the historical background of academic ties between the two countries was touched upon, and future joint projects were discussed.

Cooperation opportunities discussed in detail

Cooperation opportunities in many areas, such as the development of educational programs, support for scientific research, increasing student and academician exchanges, and the promotion of cultural activities, were discussed in detail. 

It was emphasized that conducting joint studies, especially in the fields of health, psychology, media, social sciences, and technology, would provide significant benefits for both institutions.

Contribution to the internationalization vision…

Ambassador Dr. Reşad Memmedov stated that they closely follow the academic activities of Üsküdar University and expressed that the fraternal ties between the two countries would be further strengthened through joint initiatives in education. 

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör expressed their satisfaction with the visit, stating that projects to be carried out with Azerbaijan would make significant contributions to the university's internationalization vision.

Book presentation took place

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and Ambassador Dr. Reşad Memmedov presented books to each other. 

The visit concluded with a group photo session.
