Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Sevim Sayım Madak and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Usta, President of the Federation of Autism and Disability Associations, visited Üsküdar Üniversitesi. During the meeting, attention was drawn to autism awareness, and the possibility of developing projects related to autism was discussed. It was also emphasized that academic studies related to autism could be carried out between Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Health Sciences Social Work Department and the Ministry of Family and Social Services.

Autism awareness highlighted
During the meeting, attention was drawn to autism awareness, and it was discussed that projects related to autism could be carried out in cooperation with Üsküdar Üniversitesi and the Ministry of Family and Social Services. It was also emphasized that academic studies related to autism could be conducted between Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Health Sciences Social Work Department and the Ministry of Family and Social Services.
Evaluations made on the Autism Action Plan
During the meeting, evaluations were made on the Autism Action Plan. The revitalization of the Istanbul Care and Rehabilitation Family Counseling Center and the increase in Autism Day Care Centers were also discussed at the meeting.
