Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Audiology 2nd grade students wore their white gowns on World Audiology day. Families of students also attended the ceremony.
The ceremony held on October 10, World Audiologists Day in Main Campus Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall.
The opening speech of the ceremony was given by Audiology Department Head Asst. Prof. Didem Şahin Ceylan.
“Our team is very dynamic”
Ceylan stated that they have a young academic staff as audiology department. She said, “We started in 2018. We did many great activities together. In the last year, we have done many activities, mostly scientific. We have hosted many names from the audiology community. Our team is very dynamic. I believe we will do more great things together.
Ayşe Nur Egemen, 3rd year student of the Audiology Department and Melisa Levent, 2nd year student gave speeches about the meaning and importance of the day.
After the opening speeches, students were dressed in white coats by the academics.
The ceremony ended after the collective souvenir photo shoot.
