Audiology students on the theater stage…

The play titled “Kulak Ormanı” (Ear Forest), coordinated by Dr. Didem Şahin Ceylan, Head of the Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Audiology, who also developed its script with audiology students, had its art direction undertaken by actor Tuncay Çağıl, known for the series Diriliş Ertuğrul.

The 25-minute play, staged at the BÜMED MEÇ Schools Koşuyolu campus, was presented to students to answer the question: 'What can be done to prevent bullying by children during their childhood against peers who use prosthetics?'

The "Kulak Ormanı" (Ear Forest) play, prepared for preschool children and attracting considerable interest, provided clarifying messages to help children learn about the ear as an organ of hearing by answering questions such as: "What does the ear do?", "How do we hear?", "What should we pay attention to for healthy hearing?", "What is hearing loss?", and "What does a hearing aid do?"
