
Üsküdar Üniversitesi Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy attended the award ceremony of the Drug Abuse Prevention Story Contest, organized by the Department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) at its building in Anıttepe, Çankaya. Atasoy, who was also a jury member, presented their awards to the students who ranked in the competition.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, Deputy Minister of Interior Muhterem İnce, Director General of Security Mehmet Aktaş, Coast Guard Commander Rear Admiral Ahmet Kendir, Gendarmerie General Commander General Arif Çetin, and other relevant officials.
In the competition, which saw 1,078 students from 156 of 204 universities participate, Nagihan Korkutata came first with her story 'The Torn Aquarium', Beytullah Peker came second with his story 'Triangles', and Edanur Çiçek came third with her story 'Alone+1'. Awards were presented to the winners by protocol members. A group photo was taken at the end of the program.
