Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Chemical Engineering (English), organized a departmental seminar featuring Assoc. Prof. Muthumuni Managa from the College of Science, Engineering and Technology at the University of South Africa (UNISA). Assoc. Prof. Managa met with students and also visited the PROMER Laboratory.

Assoc. Prof. Muthumuni Managa Delivered a Seminar at Üsküdar University


Invited by Assoc. Prof. Pınar Şen, a faculty member of the Department of Chemical Engineering (English), Assoc. Prof. Managa delivered an informative presentation to the students.

The seminar, held in classroom 227 of the Main Campus Block A, drew significant interest from students.

Assoc. Prof. Managa presented her scientific research
Assoc. Prof. Managa gave a seminar titled “Conjugated Porphyrins on Nanostructured Materials and Their Applications.”
She shared insights from her research on porphyrins designed to eliminate bacteria through photodynamic methods, nanoparticles, and products developed by combining these two components.
Future projects discussed
During the event, potential academic collaborations and future project goals were also evaluated.
Visit to the PROMER Laboratory
Following the presentation, Assoc. Prof. Managa visited the PROMER Laboratory with faculty members, where she was briefed on ongoing laboratory studies.
The program, which attracted great interest from students, concluded with a group photo session.
