Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asil Özdoğru from the English Psychology department, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Üsküdar Üniversitesi, met with students by participating in the 3rd Science Workshop organized by the students of Şehit İlhan Varank Science High School.
In the Science Workshop, the third of which was organized this year by the students of Şehit İlhan Varank Science High School, the topic of “Sensation and Perception” was discussed.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asil Özdoğru from the English Psychology department, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Üsküdar Üniversitesi, met with students at the workshop and provided an assessment of how the brain perceives.
In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asil Özdoğru addressed the concepts of sensation, perception, perceptual organization, identification and recognition, proximal and distal stimuli, and also explained relationships such as psychophysics, the visual system, color vision, hearing, other senses, organization in perception, identification, and definition.
At the program, which was attended by 21 students, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asil Özdoğru was presented with a plaque and a Certificate of Participation.
