In recent months, Üsküdar University's International Student Relations Office participated in the Harvard University 'Aspire Leaders of Türkiye' event, hosted by Özlem Denizmen, one of the recipients of the Üsküdar University High Human Values Award. At the meeting where collaborations were discussed, correspondence regarding the conditions was made at the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year, and the Aspire Leaders Program application information was announced to students. Within the scope of the program, two Üsküdar students were accepted into the Harvard Aspire Institute's Leadership Program. Applications for the second term of the program continue until February 19, 2025.

The Harvard University 'Aspire Leaders of Türkiye' event, hosted by Özlem Denizmen, was attended by Dr. Gülcan Ayral, International Student Relations Manager and Target Friendship Project Manager, Lecturer, and Selda Yener, International Student Relations Specialist.
The program, which aims to develop personal, managerial, and leadership skills and is attended by students from various departments and universities worldwide, also received applications from Üsküdar University.

2 Üsküdar Students Accepted!

Şenaynur Çağlar, a Health Management Department student who is the mentor leader of the Target Friendship Project involved in the integration and support process of international students, and Hazal Naz Yıldız, a Political Science and International Relations (English) Faculty student who is a mentor, were accepted into the Harvard Aspire Institute's Leadership Program. The most fundamental condition of the program, which aims to address inequalities of opportunity encountered in various stages of life within their areas of support, is that at least one of the parents must not be a university graduate.

Applications can be made until February 19, 2025

All students who meet the conditions can apply for the Aspire Leaders Program, which offers students a very valuable experience to share in their career journeys and CVs, in addition to the curriculum they receive, for the second term of the 2024-25 academic year until February 19, 2025.
