Asst. Prof. Nuray Ergindir Küçükkaya: “Art is one of the most powerful tools of communication in human history”

Sharing her thoughts on the exhibition, Dr. Küçükkaya said: “Art is one of the most powerful means of communication throughout human history. Over the ages, it has built bridges between the past and the present, linking the voices of different eras, cultures, and perspectives. In the Artistic Period Infographic Exhibition, we explore this bridge through visuals and information, discovering the universal and timeless communicative power of art.”

Students created a visual gateway to art history

Students from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Üsküdar University’s Faculty of Communication offered a visual gateway into art history through the infographic projects they developed during the Fall Semester as part of the Informative and Educational Content Design course.

Art history meets graphic design

Under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Nuray Ergindir Küçükkaya, students designed original infographics introducing assigned artists and the artistic periods to which they belonged. The lives, works, and artistic philosophies of painters from various periods in art history were transformed into compelling visual narratives through the students’ research and design processes.
