She continued, “One of the departments within the faculty, Forensic Sciences, offers technical services such as the examination and evaluation of material evidence obtained during judicial and administrative investigations to identify crimes and offenders. As Turkey's first Forensic Sciences undergraduate program, this department combines natural and social sciences, offering broad career opportunities in the public and private sectors. The Computer Engineering (English) department, on the other hand, provides an education equipped with modern laboratories, research centers, industry collaborations, and international exchange programs, making students employable in fields such as software, telecommunications, and health informatics.”

Üyesi Gülnihal Muratoğlu explained that the Bioengineering (English) department uses fundamental sciences such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry to solve problems in biological systems with an engineering approach. She stated, “In this department, students are equipped with a wide range of courses, from biomaterials to genetic engineering, enabling them to work in fields such as biotechnology, environment, and industry. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering (English) department, on the other hand, focuses on the design and development of systems and devices that form the infrastructure of the information age. Graduates can find jobs in a wide range of sectors, from banking to defense industry, from automotive to medical systems.”

Üyesi Gülnihal Muratoğlu noted that the Industrial Engineering (English) department educates graduates who can play an important role in the analysis, design, and development of productivity in production and service systems. She added, “This department, where the language of instruction is entirely English, also encourages students to continue their postgraduate education. Chemical Engineering (English) is an engineering branch that aims to transform chemicals into useful products and offers opportunities for specialization in a wide range of areas. Graduates can find jobs in sectors such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and environmental management.”

“The Forensic Sciences Department stands out with its well-equipped laboratories offered to students. They are enabled to perform genetic and chemical analyses with devices such as genetic analyzers, PCR devices, and FTIR spectrophotometers. Additionally, tools like stereo microscopes and the VSC8000 document examination device are used for physical and document analyses. The Computer Engineering Department offers state-of-the-art computer laboratories, providing students with practical work opportunities in areas such as software development, hardware design, data analysis, and cybersecurity. Furthermore, there are opportunities to participate in various research centers and projects. The Bioengineering Department's physics, biology, and microscope laboratories provide students with fundamental and applied bioengineering experiences. These laboratories are offered to students as part of the course curriculum.”

She stated, “The Industrial Engineering Department provides practical experiences through computer laboratories and courses supported by software like Simio and SolidWorks. Chemical Engineering's extensive and modern laboratory infrastructure, with heat transfer, pressure loss, and process control training sets, enables students to apply their theoretical knowledge. There are also computer laboratories that enhance chemical experiments, technical drawing courses, and programming skills. In the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department, there are laboratories offering practical training to students on topics such as genetic analysis and cell culture. Software Engineering's high-configuration computer laboratories provide students with a broad working environment for thesis studies, projects, and research. These laboratories and infrastructures are designed to strengthen students' abilities to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and develop their own research projects.”
