Addiction Combat Committee Convened for the Second Time

The second Addiction Combat Studies Committee Meeting, held under the leadership of Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör and Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, has taken place. During the meeting, ideas were exchanged regarding projects that can be undertaken in the fight against addiction.  

At the meeting held in the Üsküdar University Senate Hall, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör and Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy spoke about what can be done in the fight against addiction. 

Department heads and unit managers also attended the meeting.

At the meeting, it was stated that the issue of addiction would be addressed in all its aspects.

Strategies will be developed

Strategies that can be developed to create general awareness about addiction were also discussed. 

Collaboration with NGOs is possible…

The possibility of collaborating with NGOs and associations on addiction was one of the topics of the meeting. 

At the meeting, where the university's processes and what can be done regarding addiction were evaluated, it was emphasized that the work in this field would continue to increase with a spirit of collaboration and solidarity.
