A support meeting was held for relatives of Alzheimer's patients

Within the scope of the studies carried out in cooperation with Üsküdar University, Kadıköy Municipality Alzheimer's Center and Türkiye Alzheimer Association Kadıköy Branch, Üsküdar University Institute of Social Sciences Assist. Under the leadership of Prof. İdil Arasan Doğan, the "Alzheimer's Patient Relatives Support Meeting" was held. At the meeting, the relatives of the patients were informed about the Alzheimer's process, behavioral symptoms, care methods and psychosocial support. Support meetings will be held at the end of each month during the academic term.

At the event, which was organized within the scope of studies with the Kadıköy Branch of the Alzheimer's Association of Türkiye, information was conveyed to the relatives of the patients about the Alzheimer's process, behavioral symptoms, care methods and psychosocial support.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer's Association. Prof. İdil Arasan Doğan conveyed the importance of support mechanisms to the relatives of the patients and emphasized that as caregivers, they should primarily focus on their own mental health.
