METATIP Health Technologies Inc., whose foundations were laid in the Üsküdar University Young Brains Academy Entrepreneurship Workshops, developed with the support of BrainPark Incubation Center and successfully received support from important institutions such as TÜBİTAK and KOSGEB. METATIP Health Technologies Inc., which produces revolutionary solutions in health education by bringing together medicine and engineering, has become one of the successful ventures growing with academic support. In this context, entrepreneurs offer innovative digital solutions to the shortage of cadavers, one of the biggest challenges encountered in health education.

The Young Brains Academy Entrepreneurship Workshops held at Üsküdar University became a turning point for METATIP's founding partners Dr. Mustafa Şanverdi and Emre Kaan Şanverdi.

Young people who had the opportunity to acquire basic competencies in entrepreneurship transformed their ideas into projects and accelerated their work at the BrainPark Incubation Center.

METATIP, which developed thanks to the university's academic mentorship and R&D facilities, focused on developing innovative technologies for digital transformation in health education.

A new dimension to medical education!

METATIP adds a new dimension to medical education with 3D digital cadavers created from real patient data and virtual reality (VR)-supported surgical simulations. The initiative, aiming to overcome the difficulties faced by medical faculties in Turkey in procuring cadavers, makes anatomy and surgical practice more accessible with the VR and 3D printing technologies it has developed.

Aiming to widespread digital transformation in education

While METATIP strengthened its R&D processes with TÜBİTAK support, it accelerated its growth and commercialization process thanks to KOSGEB's Business Development Support.

The initiative aims to increase collaborations with health faculties in Turkey, to widespread digital transformation in education and open up to international markets.

METATIP, which grew thanks to the scientific infrastructure, entrepreneurial vision, and academic mentorship support provided by Üsküdar University, not only serves as an example for university-industry collaborations but also demonstrates how young entrepreneurs can combine academic knowledge with sectoral success.

They find the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge in a digital environment

Many medical students who do not have the opportunity to practice may lack sufficient experience when encountering real patient cases. Thanks to the technology offered by METATIP, students reinforce their surgical and anatomical knowledge in a digital environment, graduating as more conscious and competent health professionals. This, in turn, has a direct positive impact on public health.

It contributes to Turkey strengthening its educational infrastructure with its own resources

A large portion of the materials used in medical education are procured from abroad, and their costs are quite high. Thanks to the VR-supported simulations and 3D printing solutions produced by METATIP with domestic technology, it reduces foreign dependency in health technologies, contributing to Turkey strengthening its educational infrastructure with its own resources.

It paves the way for entrepreneurship in health technologies

University students developing science and technology-based initiatives also serve as an inspiration for other young entrepreneurs. METATIP, by offering next-generation innovative solutions through the combination of medical and engineering disciplines, is paving the way for entrepreneurship in the field of health technologies in Turkey.

Increasing public health awareness is also aimed

The simulations and digital solutions developed for medical education can contribute to raising public awareness about health in the future. For example, making VR-based training on surgical procedures, basic anatomy, or first aid topics accessible to the public, can make significant long-term contributions to public health.

METATIP adds value to society in many areas, from ensuring equality of opportunity in education and training qualified human resources for the health sector, to supporting innovative entrepreneurship and domestic technology production.
